You’re probably here because you are knee-deep in Wedding Planning and trying to find the right florist for your celebration….First of all CONGRATULATIONS! We are so glad you found us and hopefully we can help you navigate the way to your dream florals.
OUR STYLE has been described as
ORGANIC LUXe | MODERN YET timeless | ORIGINAL & edgy
We love exploring ways to juxtapose contemporary minimalist design with the undone beauty of Mother Nature. We love balancing the soft romantic femininity of flowers with edgier raw elements. We love appealing to the senses via interesting colour palettes scents & textures; drawing inspiration from our travels, fashion, interiors and nature itself. The result; beautifully artful designs with a touch of the unexpected!
Flowers hold the power to communicate where words cannot, they can transform spaces, hold special memories & meanings…. Ultimately flowers make people happy and who doesn’t want more of that on their wedding day, right ?!
Let us tell your love story through the medium of flowers
Of course we might be biased but we think flowers are one of the most important sensory elements in setting the overall mood for your wedding; they will likely feature heavily in your photos and are often the thing that gets the most comments from your guests so it makes sense that they need to be a true reflection of you and your day. Bloaum Studio can offer you a professional, fully bespoke floral service, give you advice & suggestions on getting the best out of your wedding florals to fit within your desired look & budget and ideally have lots of fun along the way!
To help you see if we’d be a good fit, below is a little more information about our design ethos and what to expect from the process.

Our Design Ethos
We swoon over tonal colour palettes, those muted ‘in-between’ colours that are so interesting and nuanced; nothing gets us more excited than finding a perfect shade of bronzed rose, a dusty salmon sweet pea or two-tone anemone. If brights are your thing fear not, we don’t shy away from the bold and love coming up with imaginative combinations to suit.
When considering the elements of our designs, texture plays a big part in our selection. Be it the soft blousy petals of a peony, a fluffy bunny grass or a smooth sleek anthurium; using a carefully edited mix of focal textures will bring tactility & interest to your arrangements.
Whether its a loose free-flowing asymmetrical design or sculptural installation we look at balance, form & movement to achieve a feel of harmony or deliberate dissonance. We like to celebrate the natural way a flower grows; you’ll often see a gestural bare branch or a wayward stem jutting off in rebellion giving our arrangements lots of personality.
When the design brief allows, we aim to support smaller suppliers and speciality flower farms by using seasonal & locally grown flowers, this is particularly achievable during the summer when British flowers are growing in their prime. For any weddings that fall outside that season or design brief we still do our best to source flowers with the lowest air miles & enjoy the challenge of discovering more unusual varieties to bring unique elements to each design. We are making a conscious effort to be kinder to the environment & implement more sustainable working practices by using recyclable packaging , floral foam-free designs, using floral waste for other projects or donating spare flowers to local charities whenever possible.
Before we start working on your designs, its important that we get a real sense of you as a couple. Of course we will need to know what you have in mind for your florals and wedding specifics but more so we want to know what lights you up; what places hold special memories for you; how did you meet; what are your favourite foods etc…. it might be different to other methods, but basically the more we understand your style & vision, the better informed we are to create your dream flowers.
First we ask all prospective couples to fill out the wedding enquiry form and then we will get in touch to chat further based on the information provided.
You can opt to either keep all communication via email; have a complimentary phone consultation or if you are local to us we can arrange to meet somewhere convenient for a coffee. We will always be guided by you and how much contact you want to receive.
After our chat or meeting we will draft up an initial quote & mood board for you, so you can really get an idea of what we could offer you and whether you think we’d be the right florist fo you.
Before deciding, we will be available to discuss any questions you might have and also send over our Terms & Conditions to read through. If you do want to go ahead and book us, we will then ask for 20% holding fee to be paid to secure the date & our services.
Once confirmed we will work on refining your bespoke mood board going into more detail, exploring flower varieties, colour palettes, additional elements such as vase selection or candles and offering further styling suggestions so that you have a real sense of what to expect on the day.
A site visit or consultation can be arranged if needed, to iron out any changes ahead of the wedding day.
On the wedding day we will deliver your bridal party flowers and install your venue flowers as a promised, before the celebrations begin!
We create and work intuitively rather than following formulated methods or flower recipes. It’s important to note that we love seeing your inspiration pictures as cues and will always give you an opportunity to include a Wishlist of your favourite flowers; but we just wouldn’t be doing our job if we were to replicate exact images of other designs. So after our exploration process together we ask our couples to give us the trust & creative freedom to choose the best available flowers without being too caught up on the exact ingredients or reference images, we want all our work to be unique & designed specifically with you in mind and we hope you agree it’s SO much nicer that way.
